ACADEMIC INFORMATION SYSTEM SECTION

Functions

  • Manages the Computerized Registration System (CRS)
  • Prepares all statistical data as requested by colleges or government units (i.e. CHED) with the approval of the University Registrar or the Chancellor
  • Data entry and verification of various types of data from source documents such as Manual Grades, Change of Matriculation, Dropping Slips, Completion/Removal Grades, Change of Grade and Leave of Absence
  • Checks, validates and encodes pertinent information of students and grades into the CRS database
  • Provides telephone, email, and other forms of technical support for CRS users, including answering queries, providing direct technical assistance, and referring issues to the appropriate entities for resolution, in an effective, timely and courteous manner
  • Maintains all computers in the Office of the University Registrar.
  • Maintains the OUR website
